I love God, kids and music so this course is a combination of those 3 passions because I get to teach KIDS about GOD using MUSIC! God has prepared me for this exciting task in some amazing ways. I've had plenty of experience teaching kids, both in the classroom as well as one-on-one, and I have learned using video classes myself. This has given me experience from the student's perspective which I now hope to use to be a better teacher. My personality, education and training have prepared me to run my own business, dream big and look for out-of-the-box ways that God can use my talents to teach others about Him. My goal is that someday there would be 100 churches around the world whose pianists started with my piano books/course! May the Lord be pleased to use me in this way!

About Our Program

Students gain an understanding and appreciation of music so they can use it to praise and glorify God throughout their lives

  • Kids get to play songs they have a connection to – songs they know or recognize and are excited to play

  • Colour-coded approach makes learning piano intuitive and easily attainable for kids of all ages (ages 4+) and abilities, including neurodivergent students and students with many other challenges

  • Incorporates biblical truths about God into the music and stories used to teach the musical concepts

  • Far more affordable than private lessons and allows kids to build a solid framework of basic musical concepts and piano playing before parents have to invest a higher amount of money into private lessons

  • Ideal for missionary kids because it can be done from anywhere in the world (with an internet connection) so provides consistency whether travelling on deputation, furlough or on the field (digital eBooks available if shipping is too costly or not possible + 20% off courses for missionaries/church planters)

  • Completing the entire 5 levels of the books and course will provide a foundation for future musical training while enabling students to play basic hymns for church (playing the tune with the RH and simple chords in the LH)

FAQ

  • When does the course start and finish?

    You can start whenever you want! With our self-paced plans you can start and end whenever you want as lessons are released one per week from the time you register until all of the lessons are available for you. You can complete them as soon as they release or take a slower approach.

  • Are there any prerequisites for my child to start?

    Your child needs to know how to distinguish right and left hands, colours, number 1-5, and letters A to G. He or she also needs to be able to focus on the lesson videos for 5-7 minutes at a time as well as practising with your help. Lessons can be broken into bite-sized pieces and practice sessions can also be split up if this helps.

  • Do we have access to the teacher for questions?

    Plans with consistent interaction are not available yet as her time available is limited while creating more books and courses. For now, she's happy to answer an occasional email as needed!

  • Who can use this course once I pay for it?

    The Supplement videos and Basic online course are to be used only for immediate family members, but you may use it for as many family members as you want during the duration of your subscription. If you wish for separate logins for each family member to track progress, please contact us as we'll be happy to provide them free of charge.

  • How long will it take my child to complete the course?

    The 32 lessons are a typical school year length (Sept. to May). We have it set up to release one lesson per week for you as the students need practice time between for the concepts to sink in and their fingers to become accustomed to the songs. For a younger child, you could easily spread the lessons over two weeks by completing 1 song per week instead of 2 as usual.
