All videos are pre-recorded for your student to complete on your own schedule.
Engaging animated videos teach the concept of each lesson in the books in a way that is fun and interesting. Stories include characters such as Lolly the Lorikeet and Peggy Piano as they teach the young animals of Rainbowville about music and about God too! Many stories also teach your child the truths about God contained in the songs for that lesson.
Videos show an overhead shot of the piano keyboard while playing the song your student is learning. This helps students see exactly how to hold their hands, position their hands and play the song. Teaching videos also show the page being taught using animations to highlight what is being discussed at that time.
Several timer videos will be included that can be played each day while your child practises to motivate him or her to practise consistently. At the end of the practice session they will get some kind of encouragement from the character in that day's video!

The first week starts Sept. 23, 2024 and lessons are released one per week through until the end of May 2025 with time off for Christmas and Spring Break.
Your child needs to know how to distinguish right and left hands, colours, number 1-5, and letters A to G. He or she also needs to be able to focus on the lesson videos for 5-7 minutes at a time as well as practising with your help. Lessons can be broken into bite-sized pieces and practice sessions can also be split up if this helps.
Members of the Platinum plan will receive feedback from Lady Joy on a more regular basis through the community and monthly group coaching calls. The more consistent access is exclusive to members of the Platinum plans as her time available is limited while creating more books and courses.
The video course is to be used only for immediate family members, but you may use it for as many family members as you want during the duration of your subscription. If you wish for separate logins for each family member to track progress, please contact us as we'll be happy to provide them free of charge.
There are 32 lessons are a typical school year length (Sept. to May). We have it set up to release one lesson per week for you as the students need practice time between for the concepts to sink in and their fingers to become accustomed to the songs. For a younger child, you could easily spread the lessons over two weeks by completing 1 song per week instead of 2 as usual. Contact us if you're interested in the "Easy Pace" schedule for your student.
