I love God, kids and music so this course is a combination of those 3 passions because I get to teach KIDS about GOD using MUSIC! God has prepared me for this exciting task in some amazing ways. I've had plenty of experience teaching kids, both in the classroom as well as one-on-one, and I have learned using video classes myself. This has given me experience from the student's perspective which I now hope to use to be a better teacher. My personality, education and training have prepared me to run my own business, dream big and look for out-of-the-box ways that God can use my talents to teach others about Him. My goal is that someday there would be 100 churches around the world whose pianists started with my piano books/course! May the Lord be pleased to use me in this way!

Ben Everson is an evangelist and musician most known for his a cappella work. He has ministered internationally with his family for 25 years. Ben loves working with Joyfulnotes as the narrator and voice of Lolly because, “It gives me an opportunity to help introduce children to the world of music.”

As early as I can remember, I’ve loved music and books. My first instrument was piano, which I still play occasionally, along with more regularly playing French horn and trumpet at church. In fact, Lady Joy and I first met at music camp as kids! I’ve always read voraciously and wound up working a summer job as a proofreader starting at age fourteen. Getting paid to read was my dream job! Though I’ve now transitioned from my editing career to homeschooling my kids, I still edit for friends sporadically. What a joy to be able to combine my love of music with my editing experience in working for Joyfulnotes, not to mention an excuse to stay in touch with a dear friend!
